Automatic and secured bicycle parking/rental system
The Velowspace is perfectly suitable for storing bicycles safely. However, the Velowspace is appropriate for a smaller amount of bicycles (24 and 48 places) and the used technique is different. Besides, the Velowspace is round shaped and the Velominck rectangular. The system can also be supplied with different pay- and identification systems and can be delivered as a bicycle parking and bicycle rental system. Even a combination is also possible.

Operation
Upon identification of a customer a carrousel will automatically be turned around (out of sight). An empty bicycle rack will be placed in front of the user who opens the door, places the bicycle horizontally on the rack, and closes the door. Once the customer wants to pick up the bicycle, he/ she should again identify him or herself, after which the door of the system can be opened and the bicycle can be retrieved. The whole carrousel is placed in a compact housing, of which the design plays an important part.
